Tech
- SD card – storage for high-end devices we will use: the Tascam recorder, Nikon camera, and JVC camcorder. If you format a card with a Tascam recorder it will work with the other devices. Recommended specs: read/write 80 MB/s, speed class 10, UHS-I.
- Card reader (optional) – lets your SD card act like a flash drive. It should be USB-3 compatible. If your computer has an SD card slot you probably don’t need one.
- USB-3 flash drive – carry project files from one computer to another. Keep active projects handy in the classroom, lab, library, and res hall. Store backups of important files. To make it friendly to both Mac and Windows, format the drive as Windows FAT.
- Earphones – bring each day
