Greg Crawford has set a goal to raise $1 million for rare disease research at Notre Dame’s Boler-Parseghian Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases. In his fifth cross-country bike ride, Greg will travel nearly 3,500 miles from Long Island, N.Y. to Pebble Beach, Calif. to raise awareness rare disease research, including research on Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) disease, Nonketonic Hyperglycenemia (NKH), and NGLY1 Deficiency.

Greg began this symbolic cross-country venture in 2010 to demonstrate Notre Dame’s commitment to the University’s partnership with the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation, and to raise funds to find effective treatments for NPC, which took the lives of three of Coach Parseghian’s grandchildren.

We need your support to make a difference in the lives of those affected by rare diseases.  100% of your gift to the 2015 Road to Discovery will be used to fund rare disease research at Notre Dame.

You can also choose to designate your gift specifically to fund NPC, NKH or NGLY1 Deficiency research.

Ways to Donate:

    Congratulations on your amazing efforts.
I think all Deans of Science should raise money for their faculty’s research–I’m going to suggest this to my Dean!

I met you this morning on the downtown square in Sulphur Springs, TX. I was so inspired by what you are doing. I hope you are able to raise not only lots of money, but more awareness about NPC. I wish you a safe trip to Dallas and a wonderful rest of the summer.
