About Me

I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Biological Sciences at University of Notre Dame. I am broadly interested in the impacts of environmental changes on vegetation on both large and small spatial scales. Specifically, my research focuses on the impacts of land use, climate, and CO2 changes on both tree drought sensitivity and biome stability of temperate savannas and forests. To do this, I use a combination of historical vegetation datasets ( from the PalEON project ), tree ring methods, and stable isotope geochemistry.
