Prof Bloom on Violent London

Violent London book coverLUP faculty member Prof Clive Bloom has been much in the media over the past few days talking about the recent riots, including an article in the Financial Times “Economics not racism riles the Nando’s generation”. Author of books including ‘Violent London: 2000 Years of Riots, Rebels and Revolts‘, ‘Gothic Histories: The Taste for Terror, 1764 to the Present , Prof. Clive Bloom has taught a wide range of courses for the LUP over the years; in Fall 2011 he will teach ‘Seeing Britain on Screen’ and ‘Gothic Literature’.
