It’s great to see that a new publication coming out of the Workshop of Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research which was held here in London.

Mark Alber (left) and Glen Niebur (center) from the University of Notre Dame and Philip Maini (right) from the University of Oxford, UK, co-edited a Special Issue of the Bulletin of Mathematical Biology (Springer) titled “Biomedical Modeling: ¬†The Role of Transport and Mechanics” which has just appeared: ¬†August 2013, Volume 75, Issue 8, pp 1233-1237.

Global Dome Exchange Program Article

A lovely article about the Global Dome project which took place in London this summer.

Eight Notre Dame graduate students from the history and English departments joined eight peers from U.K. partner universities this summer for an intensive workshop designed to foster cross-disciplinary training, accelerate dissertation progress, and build international networks of young scholars.
