Benjamin Liupaogo, tenor soloist, young artist from Notre Dame

liupaogoA native of California, and known for his rich powerful lyric voice, Benjamin captivates the audience with his musicality and artistry. Benjamin has performed multiple roles with various companies. Among them are his performances of Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutte, Monastatos in Die Zauberflöte, Herr Vogelsang in The Imresario, Ringmaster in The Bartered Bride, Prince in Cinderella (outreach program), Nemorino (cover) in L’elisir D’amore, and Yakuside in Madama Butterfly. He has also performed as a soloist in concert repertoire with Sacred Music of Notre Dame Vocale, Notre Dame Chorale, St. Matthews Episcopal Church, and Chicago Bar Association. Concert repertoire consists of Mozart Requiem, Lord Nelson Haydn Mass, Handel Messiah, CPE Bach Magnificat, and Vivaldi Gloria. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from San Francisco State University and Master of Music Voice Performance from Roosevelt University Chicago College of Performing Arts. He is currently pursuing a Master of Sacred Music from University of Notre Dame.
