The Arrival: Saturday, March 7th

Later in the evening, we finally arrived at Union Station and made the trek to the Washington Seminar Center. An hour later we went out to buy groceries for the week.

The major highlight was the game of “the Price is Right” as we guessed the total cost. Further excitement ensued when we used our Harris Teeter card to get some major reductions.

Rural landscapes and a setting sun.

Great Expectations…

Tomorrow night we will be leaving campus for the 14-hour train ride to Washington DC. Preparation for this trip goes beyond remembering to pack your toothbrush and shower shoes. We must also prepare ourselves to challenge our beliefs and ideas.
