Rocky Stroud, Favorite Memory

Take Ten has been a great experience so far. I am now more acclimated to the students as well as the curriculum. My fourth grade class seems to come alive when I walk in the door, always eager and ready to learn. The kids still struggle a bit with the concepts, especially with words like values and principles. One student said that the principal was downstairs in her office. These words are not used daily by the students. My favorite memory thus far occurred at Perley. The students had completed the homework assignment. All of them understood and accurately demonstrated with pictures the difference between conflict and violence. Elated, I allowed my class to indulge in doing their favorite activity: skits.
