In the spirit of the diversity and inclusion, all non-supervisory staff members are encouraged to attend We Are All ND, a 4-hour interactive and engaging workshop that inspires each of us to take ownership of our campus environment and do our part to build and maintain a culture of inclusion where all are welcomed.

Think Summer: Call For Intern Projects

The University Relations Internship Program aims to invest in students, build and diversify the talent pipeline, produce meaningful work for the division, and energize student-colleague connection. Interns complete resume-worthy projects, acquire and sharpen business skills, and engage with the dynamic network of Notre Dame alumni, parents, and friends.

To request a summer intern, please complete this project proposal form by March 1.

Projects should be “resume-worthy” and produce meaningful work. Summer interns work on projects Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-5 PM, for eight weeks (June 4-July 27.) Fridays are devoted to cohort activities and professional development.

Supervisors of interns collaborate with the LOD team to provide onboarding, ongoing coaching, mentoring, final presentations, and mid-term and final reviews.

Approved internships are funded through a central account.

FAREWELL TERRY HOWARD

Terry Howard ’13 is going to Harvard!
Please join me in wishing Terry a successful transition to his new position as Assistant Director for Academic and Development Coordination at Harvard University. Terry joined the Storytelling and Engagement team in September 2014. We’ve had the privilege of watching him grow over the years and become a valuable member of our team.
Many of you have had the pleasure of working with Terry on storytelling fundraising proposals, particularly for the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Science, on capital projects, and Notre Dame Day. His writing has directly contributed to over $500 million in gifts to the University.
Terry’s last day will be Valentine’s Day, February 14. While we’ll miss his dry wit and encyclopedic knowledge of movies and board games, our hearts are filled with joy for Terry as he moves on to the next chapter in his story.
