Brandon is pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame. He received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While attending Grand Valley he conducted research on glaucoma utilizing mixed cell cultures to investigate regeneration of retinal neurons. In the White Lab, he’s investigating the molecular mechanisms of pH sensitive proteins.
Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Brandon enjoys spending his free time outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, camping, or lounging at the beach. Sunshine, margaritas, and Empire beach is the perfect combination for a great day.
