Michael Lee was born and raised in Champaign, IL. He worked in the White Lab from 2019-2022, and completed an honors thesis on work exploring pH sensitivity of DNA repair enzymes.
Michael is pursing a dual-degree M.D./J.D. program at Southern Illinois University.
Outside of the classroom and lab, Michael played the piccolo for the Notre Dame Band and was involved with the Notre Dame student government. He hopes to eventually specialize in battlefield medicine in the future. In his spare time, he enjoys running long distance, writing, and creating YouTube videos.
