The Graduate School, in collaboration with the American Association of University Women and campus partners across University of Notre Dame, is organizing the Women Leaders in STEM (WL-STEM) Program.
WL-STEM is a mentoring and professionalization platform that will connect women in STEM to campus resources and each other in order to grow future competitiveness in the STEM job market, especially in leadership positions. WL-STEM aims to promote and empower women leaders in our community by, increasing awareness of complementary services and fostering professional development across multiple levels, including undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral scholars. Most importantly, WL-STEM pairs female faculty, staff, and postdocs with female graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in one-on-one mentoring relationships to facilitate personal and professional development growth.
Currently, 25 faculty and staff have signed up to be mentors for Spring 2018! We invite interested female STEM graduate and postdoctoral scholars to sign up to be mentees here (deadline: February 02, 2018). Spaces are limited and available on a first come first served basis.
