Hi, welcome to my homepage! I am currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. I obtained my B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2009 and Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology (Gatech) in 2015. My research focuses on developing experimental studies of thermal-fluid problems primarily at microscopic scales with broad applications in energy, water, and environment. I take advantage of non-intrusive optical diagnostics, such as fluorescent microscopy and micro-PIV to characterize thermal and mass transport in microscale evaporative heat transfer, multiphase flow and porous media flows. I am also interested in designing and fabricating microfluidic devices with applications in thermal management and energy.
