{"id":62,"date":"2023-03-27T10:12:13","date_gmt":"2023-03-27T14:12:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/adingler\/?page_id=62"},"modified":"2023-03-27T10:14:18","modified_gmt":"2023-03-27T14:14:18","slug":"about-me","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/adingler\/about-me\/","title":{"rendered":"About Me"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Welcome!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am Aaron Dingler, an Associate Teaching Professor in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cse.nd.edu\">Computer Science and Engineering<\/a> Department at the University of Notre Dame.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a little bit about me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In 2007, I graduated from Notre Dame with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.  I stayed on for my M.S. and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, graduating in 2013.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I worked for six years in the <a href=\"https:\/\/spu.edu\/academics\/college-of-arts-sciences\/engineering-and-computer-science\">Engineering and Computer Science<\/a> department at <a href=\"https:\/\/spu.edu\/\">Seattle Pacific University<\/a>, where I reached the rank of Associate Professor of Computer Engineering (with tenure).  I was responsible for teaching a <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/adingler\/teaching\/\">wide range of courses<\/a>, mainly in the Computer Science and Computer Engineering curricula.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In June 2019, I started working at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/\">IBM<\/a> in Austin, TX.  As a Hardware Developer in IBM Systems, I was responsible for modeling specific core microarchitectural features of future IBM Power systems.  I was part of a team that develops a cycle-accurate performance model (simulator) of the core.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In June 2022, my family and I moved back to Indiana, and I started teaching in the ND CSE department in Fall 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome!
