She received a BS in Animal<br \/>\nScience from Cornell University in May 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As an undergraduate, her research was primarily focused on various aspects of avian biology. She worked on a project investigating variation in the immune responses of Galapagos Finches to an\u00a0 merging pathogen as well as in the Gyrfalcon. However, her main work was focused on investigating the functional role of the gut<br \/>\nmicrobiome in the physiology of House Sparrows.
