The ship campaign is called the Arabian Sea Transition Layer (ASTraL) project, and it will employ atmospheric and oceanographic measurements to better understand and characterize the formation of &#8216;mini warm pools&#8217; that form in certain regions of the Indian Ocean. After the 2-week cruise, I will be traveling with 2 of my labmates to see the Taj Mahal and other destinations within India. Other than that, I am also excited to be a part of the Graduate Orientation Team to help organize the Graduate Student Orientation in August!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What are you most looking forward to this summer?
