Baumer\u00a0Hall is the one of the newest men’s hall\u00a0in the Notre Dame residential life community. The Home of the Buccaneers, Baumer Hall was completed in Summer 2019 as the result of a generous gift from University of Notre Dame alumnus John\u00a0Baumer\u00a0and his wife, Mollie.\u00a0\u201cThis University has been part of our family story for three generations,\u201d John\u00a0Baumer\u00a0said. \u201cThe residence hall experience I had at Notre Dame was the backdrop for the best and most lasting friendships and memories I have made. Sharing every aspect of life with your residence hall community creates a foundation of friendship and support you will build on for the rest of your life. I am deeply grateful for my time in\u00a0Zahm\u00a0Hall, and we as a family are delighted that we have the opportunity, through\u00a0Baumer\u00a0Hall, to ensure this tradition remains strong and meaningful for future generations.\u201d\u00a0Baumer\u00a0Hall is located on the south side of the Notre Dame campus, behind Keough and Hall and next to Ryan Hall and the Hammes Bookstore. Throughout the 4-floor and 78,000-square-foot structure, Baumer Hall offers an atmosphere like no other. Not only are the building’s facilities incredible, including a two-story lounge, a community lounge on each floor, a reading room, study rooms, community kitchen, chapel, laundry, vending, storage, gym and space for food sales, but its community is unlike any other on campus. Baumer Hall is characterized by a spirit of special welcome which extends into signature events, strong traditions, and an atmosphere of unity and brotherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n
