{"id":586,"date":"2015-06-22T18:17:16","date_gmt":"2015-06-22T18:17:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.nd.edu\/bikend\/?page_id=586"},"modified":"2015-06-22T18:28:10","modified_gmt":"2015-06-22T18:28:10","slug":"the-1000-mile-challenge","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/bikend\/the-1000-mile-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"The 1,000 Mile Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FAQ\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is The 1,000 Mile Challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Help Bike ND ride 1,000 miles in 5 weeks from June 22- July 27<\/li>\n<li>Everyone participating in the challenge will be entered into a prize drawing<\/li>\n<li>A leader board with the top riders of each week will be posted on the blog<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do I participate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simply ride your bike whenever possible and keep track of your mileage<\/li>\n<li>Submit your\u00a0weekly mileage (Monday-Sunday)\u00a0via email at bike.nd@nd.edu at the beginning of each week (Mondays)<\/li>\n<li>The leader board will be posted each Wednesday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: normal\"><strong>How do I calculate mileage?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: normal\">Participants who don&#8217;t have an odometer can calculate their mileage<\/span>\u00a0using the following apps (not limited to):\n<ul>\n<li>MapMyRide<\/li>\n<li>Cyclemeter<\/li>\n<li>Endomondo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do I register for the challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are not a member of Bike ND, register for FREE via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/recregister.nd.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">RecRegister<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Once a member,\u00a0email bike.nd@nd.edu to sign up for the challenge and submit your\u00a0weekly totals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAQ\u2019s What is The 1,000 Mile Challenge?
