I’m Caroline.

I am a Notre Dame student from Dallas, Texas.

I am majoring in computer science because I have always been passionate about using technology to solve problems in service of others. Although I took my first computer science class junior year of high school, I came to Notre Dame as an undecided major in the College of Engineering. In Intro to Engineering, my group developed a program in MATLAB to manage inventory and optimize storage space for a nonprofit I work with in Dallas. After this, my first experience using my knowledge of technology to create a solution for an organization in need, I realized that computer science was what I wanted to study.

I love…

  • traveling. I studied abroad in Alcoy, Spain for a summer and in Hong Kong for a semester.
  • bubble tea, specifically from ShareTea.
  • golden retrievers. I have two (in Dallas) named Bear and Moose.
  • to hike in National Parks, cook vegan foods, & snow ski in Colorado.
