Use a recorder with an extra microphone or record on two separate devices and sync up the recordings later. Here are some important tips:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Get close \u2013 recording far away amplifies noise, too close and you get breath sounds.<\/li>\n<li>Buffer zone \u2013 record 3 seconds of silence on purpose at the beginning and the end.<\/li>\n<li>Two takes \u2013 record everything twice and make a reality check after each take.<\/li>\n<li>Keep recording \u2013 If the subject stumbles, ask them to start again when ready.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Post-Production<\/h2>\n<p>After the interview, write and record an intro and wrap-up.
