{"id":19,"date":"2025-08-19T15:43:23","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T19:43:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/cips\/?page_id=19"},"modified":"2025-10-01T10:56:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T14:56:30","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/cips\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Comparative and International Politics Seminar, funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/kellogg.nd.edu\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/kellogg.nd.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kellogg Institute for International Studies<\/a> as a <a href=\"https:\/\/kellogg.nd.edu\/opportunities\/nd-faculty\/working-groups#comp\/international%20politics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">working group<\/a>, is designed to bring emerging scholars to campus and to offer advanced graduate students (with priority given to job market candidates) and postdoctoral fellows working on comparative politics and\/or international political economy an opportunity to present their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each session features a presentation of a pre-circulated advanced working paper, followed by a discussion by a graduate student, and then an open general discussion. Attendees also have the chance to sign up for one-to-one meetings with the external speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Seminar complements the graduate student-led <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/ki-comparative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Comparative Politics Workshop<\/a> (CPW), which offers a space for in-depth discussions and feedback on work-in-progress papers.
