Kaitlyn Handy is from North Wilkesboro, North Carolina and began graduate school at Notre Dame in the fall of 2022. Kaitlyn is co-advised by Drs. Steve Corcelli and Alex Kandel and performs theoretical calculations of non-covalent interactions of molecules formed on surfaces based on observed clusters from Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM). When not in lab, she enjoys knitting, crocheting, reading, and hanging out with her cat!
