Two pathways, one degree
Both routes end in the same M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering. Your undergraduate major decides where you start.
The M.S. in CSE is 30 credits: 24 credits of graduate coursework at the 60000 level, plus a 6-credit hands-on research project or thesis carried out with CSE faculty. A well-prepared student can finish in two semesters plus a summer.

The application deadline is December 15 for the following fall semester. All qualified admitted MS students are considered for a Teaching Assistant position, which pays a stipend. The availability of TA positions is subject to funding. No other forms of financial aid, including tuition remission, are provided for this degree.
