See the <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/elizabeth-louden\/files\/2018\/07\/OCTI-Syllabus.pdf\">syllabus<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Teaching Practicum<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">University of Notre Dame, 2017<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Physics Department Teaching Practicum provides graduate students the opportunity to give a full lecture to physics students and receive feedback from an observer. I completed three lectures as part of the teaching practicum \u2014 one upper level physics course with only ~10 students and one lower level physics course with ~ 100 students.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Teaching Assistant<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">University of Notre Dame, 2013-2014<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 5\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>I was a teaching assistant for the General Physics I &amp; II tutorials for three semesters: Fall 2013, Spring 2014, and Fall 2014. The purpose of the tutorials was to practice problem-solving techniques in a group setting. Each section consisted of 15 &#8211; 20 students. I structured the tutorials with a 5 minute lecture to review the important concepts\/equations, 35-40 minutes of group work time, and 5-10 minutes at the end for groups to present their solutions. The tutorial questions were provided by the professor in charge of the course and used by all tutorial sections.
