Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a one-day career conference for middle-school students to have the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops led by volunteers, meet STEM role models who live and work in their own communities, and learn more about careers in STEM.<\/p>\n
As an EYH workshop leader<\/strong>, you will have the opportunity to help inspire the next generation of STEM academics and professionals. These workshops are a place for participants to have a fun and rewarding experience while learning some math and science! Each workshop typically lasts 55 minutes and hosts 10-12 youths per session.<\/p>\n In addition, we welcome Notre Dame students as general volunteers. Our general volunteers are an essential part of EYH, and have a variety of duties, including assisting with workshops, serving lunch, or shuttling the attendees from place to place.<\/p>\n As an EYH workshop leader or general volunteer, you will have the opportunity to become a STEM role model by developing skills to engage students from our community.
