My name is Fanrui Jing, and I am a first-year philosophy Ph.D. student at the University of Notre Dame.
Before joining the University of Notre Dame, I received a B.A. in History and a double major in Philosophy from Beijing Normal University, followed by my M.A. in Philosophy from Peking University. My philosophical interests primarily lie within medieval philosophy, especially moral psychology, philosophy of action, theory of cognition, and their continuing relevance to contemporary debates.
Outside philosophy, I enjoy swimming and playing violin.
