Currently, Sierra is working on machine learning techniques to explore more effective methods of spectrograph analysis.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Achievements:<\/h2>\n<p>Sierra was selected to spend her spring 2020 semester in Geneva, Switzerland. There, she took classes in French and conducted physics machine learning research at CERN. In addition, Sierra is a proud member of the Notre Dame Marching Band, playing both the tuba and the flute in various ensembles. Sierra was selected as the section leader for the tuba section in 2020. <span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial, sans-serif\">In April 2021, Sierra was inducted into the Sigma Pi Sigma honor society.
