Welcome
The International Human Rights Society (IHRS) is a student-led club at Notre Dame Law School. Our main purpose is to promote human rights.
We accomplish by:
- Increasing awareness of international human rights abuses through advocacy;
- Providing opportunities to work with human rights organizations during the school year as well as developing a program for funding summer human rights internships for juris doctorate students;
- Sponsoring events to increase human rights awareness at Notre Dame;
- Augmenting the collective knowledge and understanding of human rights among all future Notre Dame attorneys, in the appreciation of the impact human rights have in every sphere of the law.
