In the 2001-2002 season, Notre Dame won their third Midwest Championship in four years.\u00a0 After being seeded 5th<\/sup> for nationals, they finished fourth in the country.\u00a0 Lauren Kuzinar, Liz Parolin and Brigette Alge were named to First Team Midwest Conference and Margo Klosterman and Meghann Stepan were named to the Second Team. \u00a0Coughlin was named Midwest Coach of the Year. \u00a0Lauren Kuzinar was named Midwest Division MVP and also named First Team at Nationals.\u00a0 Team captains were Lauren Kuzinar, Liz Parolin, and Brigette Alge.<\/p>\n
