The experiment operates at the Fermilab Test Beam Facility, where the interactions can be produced in a low-intensity, experimentally friendly environment.  EMPHATIC completed an initial data run with a basic configuration in January, 2022.  Data taking will continue in Summer, 2022.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Group members have participated in EMPHATIC data taking and simulation studies.  Professor Fields serves as Software and Computing Convener for the EMPHATIC collaboration.  EMPHATIC is planning a series of upgrades leading to EMPHATIC Phase 4, which will make a first-ever measurement of hadrons exiting a neutrino beam focusing horn.
