The Medieval and Early Modern German Studies Network (MEMGS) is an interdisciplinary community of scholars researching the history, culture, and literature of Central Europe and German speakers globally before 1750. This initiative grew out of a group at the German Studies Association, which has approved formal network status. The Network organizers plan panels and seminars at the GSA’s annual conference. This website will serve to facilitate community networking, dissemination of research, and access to teaching resources year-round.
