Students must apply online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following materials are required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Curriculum vitae<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Essay (approximately 1,000 words) regarding your personal motivation to pursue a professional engineering career<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least three letters of recommendation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your choice of MEng specialty area (Structural, Environmental, or Construction Management)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GRE exam is not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International students who prior degree programs were not instructed in English are required to submit the scores of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"how-to-apply\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply online through Notre Dame\u2019s online graduate application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gradengage.nd.edu\/apply\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/gradengage.nd.edu\/apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Start your application<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Early admission applications should be submitted by mid-December for a Fall program start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Extended applications are recommended prior to mid-June for domestic students or mid-February for international students for a Fall program start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please reach out to the program director if you wish to start the program in the Spring semester.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Admission requirements Entry to the MEng program requires an undergraduate degree in any field of engineering or physical sciences.
