Students must apply online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following materials are required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Curriculum vitae<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Essay (approximately 1,000 words) regarding your personal motivation to pursue a professional engineering career<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least three letters of recommendation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your choice of <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/meng\/curriculum\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/meng\/curriculum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MEng concentration<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The GRE exam is not required, but is encouraged for students seeking additional merit scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International students whose prior degree programs were not instructed in English are required to submit the scores of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BS+MEng Program (Notre Dame STEM undergrads only)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Notre Dame BS+MEng program offers qualified students the opportunity to accelerate their masters degree program.&nbsp;Applications for the BS+MEng program are open to all&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/meng\/who-should-apply-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">STEM undergraduate students<\/a>&nbsp;at the University of Notre Dame.&nbsp; Applications for the BS+MEng program will be accepted on a rolling basis, open for students between the end of their fourth semester and the beginning of their last undergraduate semester.
