Joe also participated in the EPA’s Campus Rainworks Challenge, where his team proposed a new design for green space at Rowan University that consisted of a bioretention basin and porous pavement to better manage the runoff that was occurring over the area, while also providing an aesthetically pleasing solution. Lastly, Joe worked with the Vineland Veteran Home to perform an energy audit to analyze the facility’s electrical usage to determine if the facility should implement a Photovoltaic System and to determine the optimal location of the system.

Besides academics, Joe is an avid rock-climber, a stock investor, and participated in various sports throughout his high school and college career.

Joe plans to sit for the patent bar in June 2016

Joe can be reached at jdiorio@nd.edu

Education MS in Patent Law, The University of Notre Dame du Lac, May 2016 (expected) Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, Rowan University, New Jersey Biographical Information Joe Diorio is a Civil Engineer with over three years of industry experience … Continue reading →

[63450
81382,44370,49346,44363,44371,12738,63416,63460,63446,63459,44365,44367,64533
post-244","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-student-bios-for-2015-16","tag-biomechanics","tag-cadcam","tag-civil-engineering","tag-computer-science","tag-construction","tag-energy","tag-environmental-engineering","tag-geotechnical","tag-green-tech","tag-hydrology","tag-materials-science","tag-mechanical-engineering","tag-transportation
["GET
