Before coming to the University of Notre Dame, I was a professor at the University of Denver and held postdoc positions at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.logic.univie.ac.at\/\">Kurt Goedel Research Institute for Mathematical Logic<\/a>\u00a0under the mentorship of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.logic.univie.ac.at\/~sdf\/\">O. Univ. Professor Sy-David Friedman<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/math.psu.edu\/\">The Pennsylvania State University<\/a>\u00a0under the mentorship of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/as.vanderbilt.edu\/math\/bio\/stephen-simpson\">Professor Stephen G. Simpson<\/a>. I earned a PhD at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/math.umn.edu\/\">University of Minnesota<\/a>\u00a0under the supervision of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/math.umn.edu\/directory\/karel-prikry\">Professor Karel Prikry<\/a>. While earning my bachelors degree in math at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/math.berkeley.edu\/\">UC Berkeley<\/a>, I completed an Honors Thesis under the direction of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/math.berkeley.edu\/people\/faculty\/richard-e-borcherds\">Professor Richard E. Borcherds<\/a>. Current research focuses include Ramsey theory of infinite structures, the structures of compact spaces, and applications of set-theoretic methods in their analysis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a set theorist working on interactions between logic, combinatorics, and topology.
