Born and raised in Canada, she received her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Winnipeg.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nd.edu\/philosophyandhistoryworkshop\/files\/2011\/08\/heidelberg.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-114\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.nd.edu\/philosophyandhistoryworkshop\/files\/2011\/08\/heidelberg-300x251.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"251\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/philosophyandhistoryworkshop\/files\/2011\/08\/heidelberg-300x251.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/philosophyandhistoryworkshop\/files\/2011\/08\/heidelberg-1024x859.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/philosophyandhistoryworkshop\/files\/2011\/08\/heidelberg.jpg 1638w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Naomi Fisher is a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. She is interested primarily in German Idealism and is writing her dissertation on Kant and Schelling&#8217;s views on perception, specifically as they pertain to animals. She received an M.S. in Physics from U.C.
