He works in Rare Books &amp; Special Collections as a subject liaison for Italian studies and curator of the Libraries\u2019 extensive rare Italian collections, while also pursuing his own academic research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to joining the Hesburgh Libraries, Celani served as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Literary Studies at Ghent University in Belgium. This cross-repository Spotlight Exhibit presents a selection of <em>sellos<\/em> stewarded by the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art; two emblematic publications of <em>sello<\/em> designs, preserved in the Hesburgh Libraries\u2019 Rare Books and Special Collections; and contemporary examples of sello-inspired visual arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Curated by <strong>Payton Phillips-Garc\u00eda Quintanilla<\/strong> (Librarian and Curator for Latin American and Iberian Studies).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em><em>These and other exhibits within the Hesburgh Libraries are generously supported by the McBrien Special Collections Endowment.<\/em><\/em> <em>All exhibits are free and open to the public during regular hours.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special Collections&#8217; Classes &amp; Workshops<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the semester, curators will teach sessions related to our holdings to undergraduate and graduate students from Notre Dame, Saint Mary&#8217;s College, and Holy Cross College.
