Thursday, August 31\u00a0at 5:00pm<\/strong>\u00a0|\u00a0The Italian Research Seminar<\/em>: “Talking Heads: Relics, Rituals, and Diplomacy in Renaissance Rome” by Margaret Meserve\u00a0(Notre Dame)<\/a>. Sponsored by Italian Studies at Notre Dame<\/a>. (This event was originally scheduled for August 24.)<\/em><\/p>\n Tuesday, September 5 at 4:00pm<\/strong>\u00a0| Opening reception for the fall exhibit,\u00a0Elements of Humanity: Primo Levi and the Evolution of Italian Postwar Culture<\/em>. This exhibit is curated by Tracy Bergstrom (Curator, Italian Imprints and Dante Collection)<\/a> and opens on August 21.\u00a0(This event was originally scheduled for August 31.)<\/em><\/p>\n The spring\/summer exhibit “Prese<\/em><\/a>rving<\/em><\/a> the Steadfastness of Your Faith”: Catholics in the Early American Republic<\/em><\/a> will remain on display through August 4.<\/p>\n The monthly spotlight exhibit, War as Child\u2019s Play: German Children\u2019s Literature from the World Wars<\/strong>, continues through August.
