We welcome those looking for a quiet place to study.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The spring exhibit <strong><em>The Word throughout Time: The Bible in the Middle Ages and Beyond<\/em><\/strong> is now open and will run through June. This exhibit, curated by David T. Gura (<em>Curator of Ancient and Medieval Manuscripts<\/em>), marks the 75th anniversary of the University of Notre Dame&#8217;s Medieval Institute. Tours are available for classes or other groups, including K-12 audiences, <a href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/?view=cm&amp;fs=1&amp;tf=1&amp;to=dgura@nd.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">by request<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current\u00a0spotlight exhibit are <em><strong>100 Years of James Joyce\u2019s Ulysses<\/strong><\/em> (January &#8211; April 2022) and <em><b>Remembering Early England<\/b><\/em> (March-April 2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>All exhibits are free and open to the public during <\/em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rarebooks.library.nd.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>business hours<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><em>Rare Books and Special Collections will be closed April&nbsp;15&nbsp;in&nbsp;observance of Good Friday.<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><em>We will resume regular hours<br>(Monday \u2013 Friday, 9:30am \u2013 4:30pm)<br>on Monday, April 18.<\/em><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please join us for the following event being hosted in Rare Books and Special Collections: Tuesday, April 5 at 4:00pm | &#8220;Piranesi&#8217;s Lost Book&#8221; by Heather Minor (Notre Dame).
