Tuesday, February 28 at 3:30pm<\/s><\/strong> | Exhibit Lecture: “The Changing Face of Irish Writing” by Brian \u00d3 Conchubhair (Associate Professor of Irish Language and Literature, University of Notre Dame). This lecture has had to be rescheduled\u2014a new date will be announced later.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spring exhibit, Printing the Nation: A Century of Irish Book Arts<\/strong>, features selected books from the Hesburgh Libraries\u2019 Special Collections that demonstrate the art and craft of the Irish book since 1900. The exhibit, curated by Aed\u00edn N\u00ed Bhr\u00f3ithe Clements, will run through the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The February spotlight exhibits are Language and Materiality in Late Medieval England<\/strong> (February \u2013 April 2023) and \u201cThat Just Isn\u2019t Fair; Settling for Left-Overs\u201d: African American Women Activists and Athletes in 1970s Feminist Magazines <\/strong> (February \u2013 March 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
