These materials from RBSC, together with a great bull on loan from Saint Mary&#8217;s College,\u00a0are featured in the new exhibit \u201cVestigia Vaticana.\u201d The exhibit&#8217;s\u00a0opening coincides with the conference\u00a0<em>The Promise of the Vatican Library<\/em>, being held May 8\u201310, 2016, at the University of Notre Dame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These materials are like the Vatican\u2019s footprints. They provide a trail for us to follow to get a glimpse of the official acts of the Holy Father, of books that belonged to popes, of events the general public wasn\u2019t privy to.
