REND is hosting a technical modeling workshop led by Rich Dougherty (ND ’11). The session will cover what a waterfall is and why it matters, walk through the logic behind building one in Excel, and show how waterfalls are used to evaluate real-world deals.

Title: How to Succeed in Interviews & Land Jobs in Real Estate (Malloree Winston, Blue Vista)

Malloree Winston, Human Resources Director at Blue Vista Capital, will answer commonly asked questions about how to succeed in the real estate recruiting process. Malloree has extensive experience in the hiring process and will provide her feedback on what sets candidates apart for landing roles in the industry.
February 11th
Title: RE Debt Workshop (Ryan Ernst, Vice President, Highgate)

REND is hosting a real estate debt workshop led by Ryan Ernst (ND ’19). The session will cover how to construct amortization schedules and how to structure a refinancing, crucial concepts to understand in all careers in real estate. The workshop will conclude with practical applications and time for student questions.
