With a little help from fire and explosions, we will elevate Notre Dame\u2019s standing in the worldwide scientific community.\u201d ~Kate Biberdorf<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kate Biberdorf joined Notre Dame in 2024 as the inaugural Professor for the Public Understanding of Science. Her new role aligns with Notre Dame\u2019s strategic vision to elevate the University\u2019s visibility as a respected research institution on the global stage. Kate is focused on making science accessible to all and building public trust in science.
