Her new role aligns with Notre Dame\u2019s strategic vision to elevate the University\u2019s visibility as a respected research institution on the global stage. Kate is focused on making science accessible to all and building public trust in science. In this role, and with a new, collaborative STEM studio, Kate leverages her platform as Kate the Chemist to make science more accessible and engaging to a wide range of audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDr. Biberdorf\u2019s appointment reflects the College of Science\u2019s commitment to fostering a deeper public appreciation of and engagement with science.
