Welcome to the SHPS website at the University of Notre Dame, where we will host occasional interviews and stories related to the journal, its editorial staff, its authors, and the fields we cover.<\/p>\n

Studies in History and Philosophy of Science<\/em> is devoted to the integrated study of the history<\/b>, philosophy,<\/b> and sociology<\/b> of the sciences<\/b>. The editors encourage contributions both in the history of the sciences and the philosophy of the sciences and in the topical areas of historiography<\/b> of the sciences, the sciences in relation to gender, culture and society, and the sciences in relation to arts.<\/p>\n
