MGH is one of the oldest and the most important institutes for medieval history:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/sla2016\/files\/2016\/08\/IMG_0700.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2027\" src=\"http:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/sla2016\/files\/2016\/08\/IMG_0700-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0700\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/sla2016\/files\/2016\/08\/IMG_0700-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/sites.nd.edu\/sla2016\/files\/2016\/08\/IMG_0700-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It has being publishing critical\u00a0editions of many crucial medieval documents. Its library and office is within\u00a0Die Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Bavarian State Library). The library is super large, with\u00a0five floors, containing most books concerning\u00a0medieval studies.
