Join fellow graduate students from across the state for the chance to engage with policymakers and practice communicating your research, a science topic that you are passionate about, or a science policy position you hold.
This is an annual professional development and networking event for graduate students in Indiana who are passionate about bridging the gap between scientists and lawmakers. Indiana Science Communication Day is a chance to:
- Develop and practice science communication skills
- Speak with and form connections with lawmakers
- Learn about the intersection of science and policy
Graduate students will have the opportunity to present a poster at the poster session, witness public sessions, and connect with other like-minded graduate students from Indiana.
This is a one day event, but there are several preparatory workshops and planning meetings. Email us at scipolnd@nd.edu with any questions or if you are interested in attending but haven’t received an email with the sign up forms or further details.
