The following is the sequence of operations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Step 1<ul><li>Check that the transport vehicle is positioned squarely against dock bumpers<ul><li>Inside Light Red<\/li><li>Outside Light Green<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Step 2<ul><li>To engage restraint depress RESTRAIN button and verify secure engagement to Rear Impact Guard (R.I.G.)<ul><li>Inside Light Green<\/li><li>Outside Light Red<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>If Restraint does not engage RIG:<\/strong><ul><li>Inside Light Red and Alarm Sounds<\/li><li>Outside Light Red<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>If OVER-RIDE Mode is Required:<\/strong><ul><li>Turn selector switch to over-ride<ul><li>Inside Light Green and Red<\/li><li>Outside Light Red<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Secure transport vehicle by other means<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Step 3<ul><li>Position dock leveler (If Equipped)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Step 4<ul><li>When loading\/unloading is complete return leveler to stored position<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Step 5<ul><li>To release restraint depress the RELEASE button, lights change<ul><li>Inside Light Red<\/li><li>Outside Light Green<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If in OVER-RIDE Mode, reset is accomplished by:<ul><li>Returning selector switch back to NORMAL<\/li><li>Return barrier to stored position<\/li><li>Unsecure transport vehicle<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dock Leveler Instructions: The dock leveler is a machine that allows for semi trailers to hook up for easy loading and unloading of cargo.
