No “EN” with time – use DURANTE, POR, or A.
For Example:
Durante el fin de la semana – Large time duration
Durante el verano- “
Durante el invierno- “
Durante las vacaciones de la navidad- “
Durante en partido de fútbol- If you are referring to the entire duration of the match and want to talk about something smaller to that proportion.
Por la mañana- Large time frame without mention of the exact hour. (If it is 8 o’clock in the morning- use DE instead of POR, e.g.- Yo voy a la clase de español a las 9 de la mañana). But, it if is “I go to Spanish class in the morning.” then, just say “Yo voy a clase de español por la mañana.”
Use just the article, el or los with the days of the week, whenever you want to say “on that day or days”
Yo tengo la clase de español el lunes, el miércoles y el viernes.
El partido de fútbol es el sábado la próxima semana.
EN is mostly used with space, e.g., en la universidad, en la clase, en mi dormitorio, en la mesa etc.
