She is originally from Columbus, Ohio but hails from Welsh Family Hall on campus. Outside of class, Casey is heavily involved with her residence hall and Global Medical Brigades. She also volunteers as a reading tutor in South Bend elementary schools and as a counselor for the National Crisis Textline.
